UConn DMD students Sydney Salomon and Annamaria Vdovenko bring a vintage story to life through 2D animation, authentic photographs, and narration. This project was inspired by a long conversation between Sydney and her grandmother Shoshana. They spoke of the many adventures and memories of her life. This section focuses on her immigration with her husband and two children from Israel to America during the 1980s. It speaks of the first moments and challenges they experienced while settling into a new place and country they would come to call home.
