Moonlight
Moonlight is a poem written, illustrated, and animated by Sydney Salomon. It is about the mind of someone struggling with depression and anxiety who feels that their past hardships mean that they deserve to constantly be submerged in darkness. It is also about learning that the past does not define the future and how to let the sunshine in.

Sydney Salomon is a Digital Media and Design major at the University of Connecticut. She is currently in her junior year and is 20 years old. Ever since a young age she has known that she was born to be an artist and is working to make her dreams into a career. With a concentration of motion design and animation she hopes to expand her digital art skills and one day work in advertising or brand identity design. This specific final project for a class called "Title Design" means a lot to her. It is a poem she wrote herself and is deeply personal. She wanted to connect to the audience not only through her words but with her illustrations and animation style.
